NZ Moana Explorer

A few nice fish out West on the Clansman for our annual Arbortree Easter fishing trip. Some of the crew were a bit green from the West Coast rolling swell 🤮 but full bins of Snapper, Gurnard and Kahawai made it all worth it.

Just had an epic solo snapper fishing session! The day kicked off pretty windy and choppy, but then the sun came out and the water smoothed right out. Managed to fill the bin in just 2 hours, then cruised north to try for some topwater Kingfish. No luck there, so I decided to chase some workups instead. Dropped some live baits and hooked another snapper, which I sent back home. What a day!
