Big Bird Hits Blue Lake This Weekend! 🚤

Big Bird will be out on the water at Blue Lake this weekend!

is taking on the 100 Miler, and will be racing in the 50 Miler.
🛥 Dave Hanks is on the wheel, with Kris Sainsbury in the observer’s seat.

This is a fantastic training opportunity for both Cam and Paige as they gear up for Trans Tasman 2025!

Bridge 2 Bridge done for another year!

What a fantastic weekend of racing! Big Bird was in action in the two support races on Saturday morning, hitting the 70mph class with Paige Moore and the 60mph class with Dave Hanks.

In the time trial, we saw some solid results with Bevan Scott taking 3rd place in the 1up class, and on Sunday’s long race, we finished strong with a 2nd place in the 1up class.

Powerboats also had an epic run up and down the Waikato River in the F2 class—couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

It's always an awesome event to be a part of! Looking forward to what Team Big Bird can achieve for the rest of the ski season.

🎉 12 PM Saturday: Big Bird’s driver, Dave Hanks, competes in the 60mph class.
🎉 9AM Sunday: Powerboats race F2 class
🎉 Time Trial & Long Race: Bevan Scott takes on the time trial and long race challenges.
