Hi Flow Civil Ltd

This week we were in Coromandel helping our friends at MS Civil Construction install some diversion manholes and rip-rap secondary flow paths on an under-slip repair on Kuaotunu hill SH25. GSI NZ installed soil nails into the slip ready for the shotcrete wall. These guys travel all over New Zealand, taking care of these types of jobs; it was great to see them in action.

Job completed:

Pads for tiny homes, water tank and sewer connection for pump all done and dusted.

We are currently looking for a casual employee labouring/operating machinery when required. Might lead to a full time position for the right person.

We are based in Horotiu just out of Hamilton so will need to reside in the area, not interested in someone travelling from a far.

What we do:

- Drainage - civil, commercial, residential
- Excavations and earthworks of all different sizes
- Concrete works
- Fencing and Retaining walls
- Driveways
- House pads and commercial building pads
- Cartage of aggregates and soils
- Anything our skill set can do

Who we are after:

- Must hold min class 1. (2-3-4-5-R-T-w prefered)
- Have drainage experience.
- Operate a shovel competently.
- Turns up to work on time.
- Come to work without bu****it excuses that 1 of your 15 grandmothers has died again.
- Pass a drug test all day, any day.
- No attitudes, dramas or baggage, we have enough. 😂
- Understand instructions given.
- Honest

Preference is for someone who has been in the civil industry with experience or a fast learner, would need to be hands on as will get dirt on you so doesn’t suit someone who is precious.

Just completed a temporary drain diversion. For a new subdivision. This drain flows straight into a lake so was important job was done as per the plan and constructed to a standard requested by regional council and stakeholders. Was interesting having ecologists onsite to relocate fish and eels from the drain prior to the next stage of reshaping, planting and coconut matting etc.

Quick digout for a new swimming pool, pool will be ready before the house is I’m thinking.

What have we been up to last month? Culvert replacements for a pavement rehabilation down south Waikato district. Some long hours even into the night to meet the deadline with all the long weekends and crappy weather we had we got it completed.
