The list of pickers is full. Thanks.

One chance to pick persimmon, tomorrow Sunday 11 May in Tamahere. From 9am. This is the only persimmon we have this year. Message me if you can make it. Don't comment, I am not monitoring them. Cheers. Colleen

Volunteer needed to run the feijoa pick coming up in a couple of months. You need to be prepared to travel to the orchard in Tamahere a couple of times a week for about 6 weeks. Transfer empty crates out to the orchard, and bring the fruit back to town after each pick. Keep track of the pickers, and the amount of fruit they take home (some will happily fill their car and leave!) It's quite a big job, might be better shared with 2 volunteers?

I am trying to lighten my load following the death of my son Jonathan on 16 December. Hoping someone in the group will step up to run the feijoa pick.

Text me please if you want more info 021 253 1526.
