Interesting job
Shaped up an old well used driveway & coated it with asphalt road millings from Wayne Annelies Baker at Ace tree recycling
The millings were predominantly top coat asphalt with lots of tar to bind together
Once laid down & shaped the roller compacted into a beautiful smooth driveway that should be good for years & at a fraction of the cost of new asphalt
It’s also great to recycle!

Rather a large post but needed to show the challenge of this job
Put in a track for Down to Earth - Waitomo Eco Cave Tours to get to the cave exit point
This involved shifting limestone rocks & slabs to form a bench to sit the digger on & progress forward
After I got a rough track cut in, I then had to metal the whole thing so it was safe to walk & drive a side x side down
There were times I didn’t think I could get any further & many times I thought I was stuck as it was very greasy
I carted 72tonnes of limestone gravel on my side x side from up top all the way down, only a couple of scary moments & only stuck once
It’s very steep in places but happy how it turned out
Awesome job, super fun & challenging 😊
