Generally, people will start to feel shin pain for one or a combination of the following reasons: - Increasing running km’s to fast – Often people who start out running or sports training experience a sudden increase of load, and this can cause stress on the lower leg - Not enough variation in running – The body needs time to make changes and adaptions to stress and load, if a running regime is too repetitive. This can lead to overload and stress on the lower limb - Old or worn foot – If your shoes are over-worn or too old, they may not be helping to manage fatigue when running and contributing to higher stress on the lower legs As Podiatrists, we address your issues and make an appropriate treatment plan to get back chasing your goals. Podiatry prescribers will boost patient care Health Minister Dr Shane Reti and Associate Minister David Seymour say it’s great news that podiatrists will soon be able to prescribe medicines, meaning patients with painful foot and leg conditions don’t have to make a separate trip to the doctor.

Flex Podiatry - Super Star Office Person - approx 30 hours/ week
We are a small business looking for a highly organised and motivated Receptionist/Office All-Rounder / Administrator to provide administration and support to the Clinic Director. This is a pivotal person in the practice environment, as the first point of contact with patients and visitors. We are looking for that person who will go above and beyond for our clients ensuring that they have a great experience in our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- maintaining office systems, including data management and filing
dealing with incoming phone calls, deliveries, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
- appointment scheduling
- retail product sales
- assisting with instrument processing
- ordering stock
