Safe travels to our Senior Premier Netball team and 1st IV Hockey as they head to New Plymouth for the Mission Cup Te Toa Tournament! 🏐🏑

This year, we're grateful to Sacred Heart Girls' College - New Plymouth for hosting what is truly a special gathering of sister schools. Competing alongside Sacred Heart Lower Hutt, Sacred Heart Napier, and St Joseph's Māori Girls' College Napier, the competition may be fierce, but the bonds of sisterhood run deeper.

A tournament steeped in tradition, the Mission Cup has been contested since the 1950s and the Te Toa Shield since 1982 — and every year it brings together young women who compete with everything they've got, united by shared values and a shared heart.

Play hard, play with heart. We're cheering you on! ❤

Round 1 starts this weekend. Goodluck to all out SHGC teams. ❤️

This past Sunday our 10A Netball team traveled to Morrinsville to participate in a fundraising tournament.

The team ended up playing for 3rd/4th in the 10A grade. Narrowly going down by 1 point in the final to Mt Maunganui Junior Development.

10A played with great heart and improved consistently throughout the day.

An absolute highlight was watching the spontaneous connection form with the Ohaupo Yr7 Mini Cane's team. After cheering them on from the sideline in the morning, the Mini Cane's decided to return the favor and brought the loudest sideline support, joining in team cheers and really lefting the energy for SHGC. This resulted in the teams moving back and forth to support each other throughout the tournament. (Ohaupo Mini Cane's and SHGC pictured together below). ❤️ 🤍🖤

A massive congratulations goes to Melissa Curran (Year 13) who earlier this week passed her Umpire Zone Theory! 🎉

This is such a great achievement and rewards her years of hard work and commitment! 💪

⏰ Registrations open 8:15am (ALL players registered by 8:45am)
🏁 Finish by 3:00pm (Be prepared, we may finish earlier)

🚨 All players MUST attend – whether trialling for Premier, General teams or playing Social netball.
If you are unable to attend for any reason, please make contact with Erin ASAP.

SENIORS
Please bring:
• Plenty of water
• Healthy snacks
• Short nails & NO jewellery
• Singlet and shorts only (numbers written on arms & legs)
• Come already strapped
No Spectators please, there unfortunately is not enough room in the gym.

JUNIORS
