This year we are proud sponsors of Lugtons' Round the Bridges, Hamilton's biggest and most loved racing event!

The event is open to people of all ages and capabilities and you can choose to walk or run 1km, 2km, 6km, or 12km.

Run as a group or go solo, either way, there is on-course entertainment and music to keep you going. It's a great day out for everyone!

You may not have heard of it before but you have 100% interacted with it.

It is everywhere. Every website, app, video game, and physical store you've every visited has some form of user experience.

User experience is essentially an experience designed with the user in mind. It focuses on having a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations.

WHAT MAKES GOOD UX?

In order for there to be a meaningful and valuable user experience, information must be:

Useful: Your content should be original and fulfill a need

Usable: Site must be easy to use

Desirable: Image, identity, brand, and other design elements are used to evoke emotion and appreciation

Findable: Content needs to be navigable and locatable onsite and offsite

Accessible: Content needs to be accessible to people with disabilities

Credible: Users must trust and believe what you tell them

The effectiveness of an online platform is dependent on the UX. A website must be easy to navigate, simple to operate, and offer a user some kind of unique benefit or advantage.
