I hope you're all doing awesome. I’ve been off the cameras for a bit, thanks to our growing family – life’s been a whirlwind! Hope you are on the same train 🙂

I’ve been thinking about all the incredible weddings I’ve shot over the years and realized that some of you might still be wanting wedding albums.

Big news this afternoon, I am a finalist in the New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Years 2022 Awards, hurray 🎉
My photo of a solar salt mining farm at lake Grassmere has been chosen as a finalist in the Built Environment category.
There is award ceremony is on Oct 27 in Auckland, the exhibition will be mid-Oct to mid-Sept in Auckland, as well as finalist photos on billboards in 160 locations around the country.

Every once in a while, I start missing my old studio & photographing families onboard the biggest ships that cruise the Caribbean ...
soon after that I remember those long working hours and humidity + heat while fully dressed up... and I stop missing it, for a while 😄

Dramatic skies + Whitianga pier at sunset ... That my friends, is a recipe for best wedding day photos ...

Why would you not get married on a family farm/garden... small ponds, small lake, few bridges, stunning backgrounds and a lot of positive vibe 😀

I personally enjoy so much when wedding couples open up that picnic basket right at the start of bridal photoshoot... I’m starving at that point 😉 are highly recommended 🔥
