This work signals the beginning of a new series and a renewed chapter in my art practice. It brings together elements of my earlier colourful, surreal style with deeper reflection, cubist influence, and a slower, more intentional way of creating. A pause before forward motion.

This painting is about sitting with time, letting it unravel, and trusting what comes next.

One of those moments that absolutely made my day… ✨
I recently heard from a Year 5 class in Auckland who spent their whole term studying my pop art animal paintings — and then created their own colourful masterpieces inspired by them! 🎨💛

Seeing their bright, joyful artworks (and those bold little creative choices!) genuinely gave me goosebumps. It’s such an honour to know my art can spark imagination in the next generation of Kiwi creatives.

To the amazing teacher and her talented students — thank you. You reminded me exactly why I paint. 💕
