Round 2 is starting off with another player hitting the 50 cap milestone, this week is midfielder Sione Taufalele.
Sione/John/Hone joined Te Rapa in 2018 after a couple of seasons at Frankton after leaving Fraser high. Joining us as an "I'll play wherever" kinda guy, he bounced around from almost everywhere on the paddock finally finding his place in the back line.
Sione Taufalele is one of the strongest mid fielders in Division 1. Destructive and powerful are two words to describe his attack, uncompromising and calculated is the best way to describe his defence. His ability on the field culminated in his selection for the 2025 Divisional XV where he dominated in an unbeaten campaign with most points and most tries.
Sione is also part of the Vea clan, playing alongside side his brothers, cousins and brothers in law, which always means an awesome and lively group of supporters on the sideline, including his lovely partner Mere (when she doesn't arrive in Suburbs kitπ)
πCongratulations Sione on your achievement! Here's to 50 more ππ½

Thank you to all those who celebrated our jubilee with us last weekend, it was a fantastic affair and we enjoyed reminiscing about days goneby.
Our seniors and prezzies both have King's Birthday off and are enjoying a well deserved break.
In sad news, the Clydesdales family have lost one of their own as Kara Burrows lost her battle with Cancer.
Kara was a vocal and dedicated supporter of the Clydesdales and our club as a whole. She always wore a bright smile and had a captivating personality that drew you in.
She will be missed not only by our club, but by all her many friends and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott and everyone affected by her passingππ½
Rest in Love Kara β₯οΈπ
