Not the usual job to pass over the bench this week... a previous customer contacted us to see if we can sort out this transmission harness for an underground mining machine.

The replacement harness to repair a fault supplied by the Komatsu dealer was clearly incorrect with less plugs than the original one. A time consuming job to trace out every circuit, find what's missing and replicate it on the new one and repin to the correct main connector having removed the incorrect 31 pin it was supplied with. All modified and back together looking like a factory part.

When your using nearly all the available pins on a Haltech R3 you know there's a bit going on and alot of wires to deal with... recently finished off this custom loom for a turbo Barra and zf6 auto, running all the engine gearbox and setup for aircon with the loom routed to be hidden as much as possible, up next onto the chassis side rewire to mate up to this.

Haltech Rebel LS Package just in... such an awesome kit for getting your standalone LS up and running.
This kit is heading off for an LS1 backed up by an 8HP Trans and Turbolamik TCU. Looking forward to seeing that all up and running

Well this setup makes the last standalone loom to be completed on this bench.... we are on the move to a new location with alot more space just north of Hamilton
We won't be taking on any new jobs until the end of April while we move my years of accumulated stuff and get setup again.
