Specifically, rehabilitation helps them to participate in education, work, recreation and meaningful roles, for example in their families or communities, throughout their lives.

Highly Personalised Standard of Care is paramount!
More than 80% of hearing aid users have trouble hearing conversations in noisy surroundings. In fact, being able to hear friends and family in noise has been rated by consumers as the most desirable hearing aid attribute*. Difficulties experienced in background noise cannot be measured by a standard hearing test.
Until recently, speech-in-noise tests were used for counselling, and to demonstrate benefits before and after hearing aid fitting. The purpose of the Audible Contrast Threshold (ACT) test, is to prescribe the right amount of assistance of advanced hearing aid features based on you individual hearing loss and ability to listen in background noise.
At SoundWave we continue to invest in the latest evidence based diagnostic tools, so that you get the most out of your investment in your hearing-health!
