‘Unified’ Here I have the unification of my Scottish and Samoan heritages. 🇼🇸🤍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Here we have an art piece that is part of 3 paintings. This piece is called ‘Alba gu bràth’, which means Scotland forever!! Thistle represents my Scottish heritage with a Celtic weave below. The circular weave represents family and my Samoan heritage. Combined this artwork encompasses the idea of my family are my forever. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤍

My first piece gifted to my cousin last Christmas. It’s a set of 3 with coffee stained canvas. Designs are inspired by our Samoan-Scottish heritage. The turtle represents our grandmother who loves turtles and the hibiscus flowers represent his mother and late grandma who’s favourite flower is the hibiscus. 🌺✨🤍
