Holiday is nearly over, we are back Monday, refreshed and ready for the year ahead. We have had a great break.

A project outside our typical automotive work: gate filigree painting for Automatic Doors and Gates on Mahana Road. The filigrees underwent sanding, etch priming, and were finished with a beautiful gold pearl paint. When sunlight hits the gold pearl, it creates a stunning contrast with the black gates.

We are honoured to have two hot rods featured in the Elite 50 at this weekend’s Chrome NZ Showcase held at Auckland Showgrounds.
Sharon Allen's 1932 Roadster and Ian Leckie's 1939 Barrel nose truck have been selected for the Elite 50, both of which received their paintwork at Flamin Body Shop. We extend our best wishes to them for the event.

Series 3 Land Rover
This vehicle is intended for driving rather than display.
The process involved sanding back, applying epoxy primer, further sanding, priming, and then refinishing.
There are numerous parts to address, featuring many rivets and spot welds.
The objective is to maintain the original factory appearance.
A lot of parts to this Land Rover.
Looking forward to seeing it all reassembled and on the road again.

If you have any projects big or small that you have set aside, now is an excellent time to revisit them.
We are in between jobs and currently have no wait time.
We may even be able to commence as early as next week.

ITS OUR BIRTHDAY
Today marks Flamin Body Shop's 23rd Birthday.
Over the past 23 years, we have been honoured and privileged to restore and paint a wide range of exceptional vehicles. We extend our sincere appreciation to our loyal customers, our friends, our dedicated staff and the community for all their ongoing support.
With deep gratitude, we thank everyone for playing an integral role in our journey and we look forward to many more years ahead.

Last week, we completed a restoration paint job on a 1934 Chrysler for a customer. We are currently in between restoration jobs, and have some spaces available, so if you need any work done big or small give us a call.
