It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Stuart Freebairn, Feilding Yellows legend, and All Blacks #554.

Stuart wore the yellow jersey with pride at the club level, and also featured in many games for . He was selected for the All Blacks in 1953 touring Britain, Ireland, France and North America.

Stuart was more than just a great player. Around the clubrooms a familiar face at club events, he shared stories, laughs, and inspiration – whether it was about a big match, the old days, or just the love of the game.

Our deepest condolences go out to Stuart’s family and loved ones. Forever a Yellow. 💛🖤

We are taking bookings for Coding Club, Term 4: Starting Friday, 10 October 2025. Coding Club is on every Friday at Te Āhuru Mōwai from 3:30pm to 4:30pm and designed for ages 12+. Limited spots available – only 10 spaces!

We’ll be working with Codey Rocky, a robot that talks, lights up, and reacts to sensors. Plus KaiBot, which teaches sequencing and logic through fun games and Sphero, a glowing robot ball that your child can control to race, draw, and complete challenges.
