We are a whānau collective who weave together multiple strands of mātauranga (knowledge) to benefit the hapori (community).

We have now merged our two Housie days into one to make it a little easier for us.
This is for a great cause helping our community with access to Rongoā (medicine) and helping our tangata whaikaha (disability)

With the official start of Matariki 2026 beginning Monday 6th of July, here's what you can expect to see and how to find the Matariki cluster.
If you're up before sunrise, look to the east to find Tautoru. From there, follow Tautoru in a line toward the north, where you will find the Matariki star cluster. Puanga will be above Tautoru.
An easy way is to look for the bright orange Mars, which sits very close to the Matariki stars this year.
If you manage to get any photos in the coming week, be sure to send them to us!
