Otago University Rowing - Game on English Rowing Programme is an intensive combined rowing and english language programme based at the University of Otago.
The Game on English Rowing Programme's aim is to bring Japanese and Chinese rowing athletes to the University of Otago to improve both there rowing skills and english language proficiency by proving 5 week programmes all year round. We can do shorter programmes down to 3 weeks, how ever the benefits will not be as great. Please email [email protected] for further information [email protected]

We had the pleasure of hosting the men’s rowing squad from Chuo University - Tokyo - for the past two weeks. The first week was training in Dunedin.
The second. week was racing at the New Zealand National Rowing championships on the beautiful Lake Ruataniwha.
Awesome results with the Men’s Eight winning Silver in the Club Grade Men’s Eight.
The Pair made the B Final and was placed 6th - 14th out of 28 crews entered.
And the Single scull also made the B Final - (the first time he has ever raced the single) and placed an amazing 7th - 15th overall - out of 47 crews entered.
