Ridgeback Run — Three Big Hearts

[Verse 1]
Golden coats beneath the southern sky,
Strong as the hills and twice as proud,
Three Ridgebacks standing side by side,
Walking tall with their heads held high.
Eyes like fire, hearts like gold,
Loyal souls with stories untold,
Quiet when they need to be,
But they’ll guard their home and family.

[Chorus]
Run, Ridgeback, run,
Chasing the wind beneath the sun,
Brave as a lion, wild and free,
But right by your side is where they’ll be.
Three big hearts standing tall,
Watching the windows, guarding all,
When the night comes creeping back,
You’d better think twice — there’s a Ridgeback!

[Verse 2]
Three pairs of paws across the floor,
Three big shadows by the door,
They’ll steal your spot upon the bed,
Then put their giant paws beside your head.
They’re stubborn, clever, full of pride,
With a little mischief they cannot hide,
But when the whole world’s gone wrong,
Those three will keep you safe and strong.

[Chorus]
Run, Ridgeback, run,
Chasing the wind beneath the sun,
Brave as a lion, wild and free,
But right by your side is where they’ll be.
Three big hearts standing tall,
Watching the windows, guarding all,
When the night comes creeping back,
You’d better think twice — there’s a Ridgeback!

[Bridge]
Three silhouettes beneath the moon,
Three loyal hearts that guard the room,
Through rain and frost, through night and day,
Three Ridgebacks never walk away.
Not just dogs, not just friends,
Three faithful shadows to the end.

[Final Chorus]
Run, Ridgeback, run,
Three proud silhouettes against the sun,
Lion-hearted, strong and true,
There’s nothing in this world they wouldn’t do.
When the stars come out and the moon hangs black,
You’ll hear those paws — here comes the pack!
Three big hearts, one mighty track…
Run, Ridgeback, run!
Run, Ridgeback, run!
