On a very hot Central Otago day a group of runners and bikers thought it would be a good idea to do some running and biking. These keen blokes and blokesses strove to push their endurance up to levels that some would say were tantamount to madness.
The sun scorched down on skin that for some started taking on a very rosy hue. Glistening bodies powered on through the dust and the heat with one thing in mind, to finish what they set out to do. Success was dealt in the iced coffee, or maybe a cold beer, and a possie in the shade. As a bonus a few spot prizes went to the lucky few. Huge thanks must go out to Quest Farms and Crank Cycles for getting this event underway.
