It’s been a while to post something , I don’t post every sculpture , as some clients need their personal sculptures , something personalized to their own needs . As I do try to get their emotions into a sculpture , a feeling , a memory for them selves .
This one I have completed isn’t one to bring beauty to a piece , as we all feel like this bird sometimes . Where you don’t feel good enough , when others assume or judge yourself because you are different , when really we all are . But we all have one life , celebrate your difference ,this piece I wrote sums it’s up .

I have been trying to create a sculpture garden now for four years , which is about 50% complete . Through doing commissions , personal health , weather and more importantly people passing it has been a slow process . But somethings in life you never want to finish , you never want it to end , if you have no goals to strive for what’s point .
I have always wanted to have that garden for others to enjoy , one where everything in it is only been built , molded and created by myself . Personally it shows myself how I have grown over time through imagination , an explanation of myself and to never give up . I want to do it using as little money as possible , no input from others , my oasis.
More importantly to give others that wow factor , its a place I want when I open it up in a few years not for any praise from others , but when I hear them breath in deep and release , then I know they are relaxed , where they can sit and worries are forgotten for that brief time . Our only enemy is time , it’s a place where time stands still , in this world of worry, of not knowing and what’s coming next .
So here’s a couple of small fences and steps I have built recently , which helps frame certain parts of my garden for further sculpture in the future.

This is - sculpture 44
Called - “ OPEN WINDOW “

I wrote the piece for this before I knew what to make , sometimes words are used for inspiration and they were hard to sculpt for because with some feelings nothing will do them justice .

This sculpture was made to represent someone’s passing , but it’s not about drawing you down , but a release of that , when you can embrace the goodness they have given you forever , where the positives cancel out any negatives .

I made this piece so when you stand inside their room you let out the dark to draw in the light , when you stand on the other side the little birds represent all of their memories flying out into the world to where ever you go .

I made this for 2 people in mind , one very dear to me , one I never met , but both were the inspiration .

To get a better feeling of the sculpture read what I wrote or watch the video

Two more of my corroding paintings , although both of these are both at stage two , with one more stage to go , which will make them pop.

All three are called “ The Self Reflection Series”
The first one here is called-
“ The Puddle “
Were you looking down or looking up to yourself
Was it raining in a drought or were you crying in the rain.

The second one here is called-
“Two thoughts”
She is looking into the future
Her friend is living in the now

The rust is still developing , much like our lives , this why I love outside art , never locked away , out in the elements.
