Kia Ora wonderful people ….
You’ve asked and we’ve listened (well, some of you have asked)
We deeply appreciate the valuable feedback we’ve received from our environmentally-conscious clients.
It turns out that many of you are keen on having a compostable paper towel in your daily lives. Surprisingly, not all paper towels meet the compostable criteria, as the majority contain bleach! When you think about it, it makes perfect sense - we wouldn’t want bleach seeping into the soil, right?
So, we revisited our manufacturing process to address this concern and we are thrilled to introduce the Best Compostable Slimfold Towel, made from recycled Kraft paper and entirely free from bleach. These eco-friendly towels are thoughtfully packaged in plastic-free cartons, each containing 20 sleeves of 200 sheets. Even the tape sealing the cartons is paper. The best part? They come at the same price as our standard Slimfold Towels.
If you’re curios and want to join all our environmentally conscious clients, we’d be delighted to send you a sample sleeve. Simply message below or email us with your address and company name at [email protected]

5 Top Tips for Effective Easy Cleaning
W.A.T.C.H.
Good morning to all our awesome FB peeps and all you cleaning enthusiasts out there!!
What is W.A.T.C.H. ????
Those in the cleaning profession live by this acronym to do the best cleaning job possible … in the shortest amount of time
W.A.T.C.H. helps us easily remember all the variables involved in the cleaning process
W – Water
A – Agitation
T – Time
C – Chemicals
H – Heat
W.A.T.C.H. is what’s required to clean anything and everything.
Keep in mind though -------- if we decrease one variable, we need to increase another.
For example – if we reduce the Heat of our cleaning solution, we need to increase the dwell Time or Agitation, or Chemicals.
Now for a bit of an explanation on each of our variables:
Water
Water is the elixir of life... and cleaning!!
The basis of our cleaning starts with water, without water nothing happens. Agitation, Time, Chemicals and Heat are all added to the water to make the job easier
Agitation
Agitation, sorry to say guys …. is another word for ‘elbow grease’!
This is the scrubbing component of effective cleaning, and there are a variety of tools available to achieve this, ranging from your basic cloth right the way up to ride on scrubbing machines.
Time
Time heals all wounds … and cleans all surfaces.
The longer you leave your chemical solution in situ without it drying off, the better results you will achieve. A great way to increase this dwell time without it drying or running off is to apply it as a foam.
We are big advocates of foam application and have a wide range of options in stock so be sure to ask about our foaming options to make your cleaning job more efficient and easier
Chemicals
Chemicals, at the correct concentration make the job easier.
It is important to get this part right. If the concentration is too low, the desired job (degreasing, sanitizing, streak free) will not be achieved. On the flip side, if the concentration is too high you will also receive unwanted results - your solution will leave a heavy residue which will leave your surfaces with a sticky, tacky feel.
The most common concentration challenge is over dilution. On top of leaving your surfaces sticky and tacky, you are also literally flushing money down the drain. The best way to remedy this is with a chemical dilution system, whether that be an automated push button system that dilutes your cleaning agent as it is being dispensed, a chemical pump which doses the correct amount after you have already added the water or even a measuring cup/jug.
Heat
Heat things up to make your job easier.
Optimal cleaning temperature when using a standard cleaning agent (excluding active enzymes) is 65 degrees Celsius. This does not mean you must use hot water; it just means that your cleaning job will be easier if you do. Another good rule of thumb is for every 10 degrees Celsius you increase the temperature, your cleaning power doubles - resulting in less dwell time needed, less chemical or lower concentration needed, or less scrubbing required.
Hope this helps, happy cleaning everyone 😊
