Senior Cultural Support Worker (Kaupapa Māori Practitioner)
He karanga tēnei ki te hunga matatau ki te ao Māori, ki te hunga e ngākau nui ana ki te tautoko i ngā whānau kia tū haumaru, kia tū rangatira, kia tū Māori.
We are seeking a Senior Cultural Support Worker to lead and support whānau through tikanga, reo, mātauranga Māori and marae-based practice within the Te Kaupapa programme and across the wider activities of the Pā.
🌿 Key Responsibilities:
✨ Cultural Assessment & Support (Aromatawai Māori)
✨ Whakawhānaungatanga & Relationship Building
✨ Kaupapa Māori Interventions & Facilitation
✨ Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration
✨ Documentation & Reporting
🌺 Ko wai koe? – About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
🌿 Are fluent in te reo Māori and confident in tikanga, kawa, and mātauranga Māori.
🌿 Have proven experience working with whānau, marae, hapū, iwi, and Māori communities.
🌿 Are skilled in facilitating kaupapa Māori healing, wānanga, and cultural processes.
🌿 Are confident working alongside clinical and social service professionals.
🌿 Can engage, inspire, and empower whānau on their healing and wellbeing journeys.
