May was a busy one at Fortis Events 🌏✈️

From the wild beauty of Stewart Island and unforgettable shark encounters, to the excitement of Sail GP in New York City, our guests have been busy enjoying incredible experiences both in NZ and around the globe.

We also had a group conferencing in Sydney by day and enjoying the lights of Vivid Sydney by night, while our walkers made lifelong memories on the Portuguese Camino, and the amazing Solo Girls Run Club community enjoyed an inspiring escape to Noosa.

From a research perspective, we had a valuable site visit to Shanghai, experienced the beauty of Tahiti as an incentive destination and checked out Sydney’s event scene - attending State of Origin and The Lion King and visiting a number of major venues across the city.

From major sporting events and conferences to active adventures and destination discovery, May reminded us why we love what we do – creating meaningful experiences and unforgettable memories around the world.

🇵🇹 The Portuguese Camino – A Journey Like No Other 🇪🇸

And they are done! Our inspiring group has completed the breathtaking Portuguese Camino alongside hosts Sir Graham and Lady Raewyn Henry.

On 27 April they started in the vibrant city of Porto, exploring both scenic coastal and picturesque inland paths, winding through charming towns like Vila do Conde, Esposende, Viana do Castelo, and Ponte de Lima. They then crossed into Spain and finished at the awe-inspiring Santiago de Compostela – a truly unforgettable finale.

A unique blend of culture, history, camaraderie, and stunning landscapes – the group enjoyed meeting other pilgrims, lots of delicious food, drinks, laughs together and 248 kilometres of walking!
