Are you taking your daily medication? It only needs to be 30minutes a day. Set some time up to go for a brisk walk or look into some of the in person or online classes. There are so many options now.

Make the most of the change of season- go and explore your local park, you local beach, your local streets. Auckland is filled with hidden gems! Yo ujust have to find them.

You may not notice but you are closer to your rehab goal than you were yesterday.
Focus on small milestones- less pain with movement, ability to do normal day to day tasks easier. You may not be 100% but you are getting better each day.

This one is a similar message to some of our previous posts.
Bodies are often good at giving you hints that something isn't quite right. Might be that slight bit of stiffness or tightness. Might be that slight headache coming on. Might be a little bit of dizziness.
Focus on the whispers...Don't let it scream at you.

Glow sticks- break them and then they shine.
Sometimes we need to have the break to fully shine. This is ok. Sometimes things we do in the session may trigger an emotional break or release. This is ok- this is normal. These can often be blocks that stop or slow progress. If this happens- acnowledge it, work through or process it and then shine.

Don't compare your injury or rehabilitation journey to someone else. Every person in unique and therefore everyones injuries are unique, their rehabilitation plans are unique.

Another thing I wish I had taken more seriously when I was younger.
You only get one body and we can currently only replace a few small components. Take care of it. Get any issue and ni**le looked at ASAP. Your body will thank you for it in the long run.
