Greater East Tamaki Business Association - GETBA recently hosted another breakfast with Hon Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance, at Highbrook Conference Suites.

Within its investment portfolio the Mount Wellington Licensing Trust owns the Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre and the profits of the business are returned to the people of the Mount Wellington/Panmure area by way of charitable grants. These grants help support community organisations such as schools, older people, sports clubs, church groups and those of less fortunate circumstances.

The Trust actively seeks opportunities to increase its portfolio and when the opportunity arose to expand on existing competencies at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre (which the Trust developed forty years ago) the highly desirable Highbrook Business Park development fitted the Trust's discerning investment appetite.

Highbrook is fast becoming one of Auckland's most sought after corporate addresses, attracting blue-chip companies to the area and this was seen as an ideal opportunity to increase the Trust's business base.
