THE GROUNDS AND WHOA STUDIOS HAVE PERMANENTLY CLOSED ITS DOORS Our name is a nod to the beautiful grounds of our surrounding Waitakere. Convivial.

We’re not doctors but we’re pretty sure a glass of great wine and a bite to eat can solve (just about) any problem.Lead by two dads who know their way around the kitchen – Mike Shatura & Ben Bayly. Our seasonal menus have been put together with a thought to the kiwi lifestyle and local Waitakere suppliers. Closing statement

After 10 incredible years, the time has come for us to say goodbye.
Our final day of service will be the 31st of May.

What started as a restaurant became so much more — a place filled with laughter, celebrations, friendships, late nights, busy mornings, loyal customers, and unforgettable memories. We are beyond grateful to every single person who walked through our doors, supported us, worked alongside us, and made this journey what it was.

To our amazing staff, past and present, thank you for your hard work, passion, and dedication over the years. To our customers, thank you for choosing us time and time again and allowing us to be part of your lives.

Closing this chapter is emotional, but we leave with full hearts and so much pride in what we built together.
