Allproof maintains an ongoing fire testing programme, ensuring its systems are supported by current, independently verified fire performance data.

One of the latest Allproof Industries fire tests undertaken at FTSL was conducted in the ComFlor60 composite floor system.

The test specimen list included:

- PPR & PEX water pipe systems using Allproof's Drop-In Fire Collar (DIFC).

- A large cable bundle containing 51 x CAT6 cables protected with DIFC.

Although the ComFlor60 floor is rated for 60 minutes, the fire test successfully achieved 120min.

Protecta FR Acrylic – Smoke Rating 🔥

What Is a Smoke Rating ❓

A smoke-rated system is tested to measure how effectively it limits the passage of smoke and air through joints and openings in fire-rated construction.

Tested for

Protecta FR Acrylic has been tested for air permeability.

Testing demonstrated no air permeability at pressures up to 2000 Pa.

Hence, systems using Acrylic Sealant installed at a minimum depth of 10 mm in joints up to 30 mm wide are therefore classified as zero-smoke leakage systems.

Acoustic Firestopping Solutions

It is a numerical rating that measures how well a wall, floor, ceiling, door or other building element reduces airborne sound.

Protecta FR Collars were tested as part of a partition wall system penetrated by a DN160 PVC-U pipe. The was installed on both sides of the wall to protect the service pe*******on.

The test results support a calculated STC rating of 58 dB.
