NVIDIA has killed off Control Panel. 💀

And that’s probably going to annoy a lot of people.

The old Control Panel was basic, but that was the point. It was light, bloat-free, easy to use, and let you get in, change what you needed, and get out.

Now NVIDIA is pushing GeForce users further toward the NVIDIA app instead.

A lot of PC users do not like being forced into an app experience when the old tool already worked fine.

So what do you reckon?

Was Control Panel an outdated relic that needed to go, or was it the better way because it stayed simple and out of the way?

Would you rather have:
🖥️: The old Control Panel
📱: The NVIDIA app
✨: A modernised version of Control Panel without all the extra fluff

Sony may be pulling back from PC ports 👀

According to recent industry reports, insiders claim Sony could release fewer major single-player PlayStation games on PC going forward, with big titles potentially staying console-exclusive for longer.

From a PC gaming point of view, we love seeing more games hit the platform. Higher frame rates, better hardware scaling, ultrawide support, and actual control over graphics settings all matter.

But there’s one big catch: the PC port actually has to be good.

Nobody wants poor optimization, shader stutter, or performance issues that make even high-end hardware struggle for no reason. A delayed PC release is one thing, a bad PC release is another.

Nothing has been officially confirmed by Sony yet, so take this with a grain of salt for now.

Should PlayStation games keep coming to PC, or stay console-exclusive? Drop your thoughts below 👇

With the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition early access now live, we’re finally getting a proper look at PC performance benchmarks ahead of the full launch on May 19 👀🏎️

The good news? FH6 looks surprisingly well optimised.
Even GPUs like the RTX 5060 can comfortably push 60+ FPS at 1080p Extreme settings, while 1440p gaming looks very achievable on cards like the RTX 4060 Ti. For 4K Extreme settings, you’ll still want something more powerful like an RTX 5070 or above.

Ray tracing is where things start getting demanding, with true 4K 60 FPS RT gameplay mainly reserved for top-end cards like the RTX 5090.

Realistically though, most gamers will probably be playing around High settings — and that’s where FH6 seems to run really well across a wide range of hardware 🔥

If your PC needs a little extra horsepower before launch day, come chat with the team in-store and we’ll help get your rig ready for the roads of Japan 🚗💨

A whole decade later… the NVIDIA 10-Series still refuses to quit. 🔥

The Pascal generation officially turns 10 years old, and honestly, few GPU lineups have earned legendary status quite like this one.

GTX 1060.
GTX 1070.
GTX 1080.
And of course… the king itself, the GTX 1080 Ti 👑

No DLSS.
No Frame Generation.
No dedicated ray tracing hardware.

Just raw performance, solid efficiency, and GPUs that somehow kept pushing through generation after generation of new releases.

The GTX 1080 was the superstar in 2016, but the 1080 Ti went on to become one of the most respected gaming GPUs ever made and plenty of people are STILL gaming on them today. 🎮

So be honest…
Who’s still rocking a 10-Series card in 2026? 👀👇

Hot take: “It’s not ready yet” from Noctua is actually reassuring.🦉

Noctua recently explained why their chromax.black fans take so long and it turns out, changing the colour isn’t just changing the colour.

Black pigment can affect how the plastic behaves, which then impacts noise, airflow, and long-term durability.

So instead of rushing it, they test and retune everything before it ships. 🔬

Frustrating when you’re waiting on an all-black build? Yeah. 🖤
Better than cutting corners? Probably.

If you want the deep dive, check their full blog here:
https://www.noctua.at/en/expertise/blog/how-can-it-take-so-long-to-release-black-fan-versions

So what do you think? Would you rather wait nearly a year for the “right” version, or would you rather brands release products faster and improve them later?
And be honest, do you actually care about fan quality, or are you mostly buying based on colour and price? 👇
