I freakin love the freedom of fasting!!! We’ve travelled down to Hawkes Bay today, didn’t have breakfast, wasn’t organised to make any lunch and didn’t want to buy so I just fasted through the whole day - a few years ago you would have seen me packing lunch and snacks and never going a couple of hours without food!!

So much freedom, it’s so enlightening, plus I know the healing my body is going through too!

"Is a Thermomix actually worth it?"

It's the question I get asked more than any other – so let me answer it honestly.

I've had mine for 3 years. And the thing that convinces people isn't the smoothies or the soups, or the salads – it's the bread (especially the people in my realm). I've put the actual numbers in the images above, and they totally surprise most people.

But here's what I'd really say to anyone weighing it up: the maths is different for every household. What you cook, how often, how many you're feeding, if you're accomodating allergies – it all changes whether it pays off for you.

And the timing's pretty good right now – there's a June offer on: $150 off, plus an extra bowl and additional warranty for $200. Worth knowing if you've been on the fence (but only until the 28th June).

So rather than give you a generic answer, I'd love to just talk it through.

If you're spending $20+ a week on healthy gluten-free bread and rolls, you need to see this. 🍞

You can't even buy these in a shop – nut-free, grain-free, super healthy. I make mine for about $1 each.

A café roll is around $5. A batch of 7 saves me $25–30.

Add a healthy loaf a week and that's – $32 saved – with a Thermomix on the payment plan, it’s about $19 a week, the savings on bread alone more than pays for it , not to mention everything else!! 🙌

What an incredible day yesterday doing the St James Cycle Trail in Hanmer, cycling about 58 kms. Thank goodness we had ebikes is all I can say!!! We felt like we were doing parts of the Alps to Ocean!! 😂😂 Such a fantastic experience and the most gorgeous scenery - we have such a beautiful country!

Then we finished off the day with an incredible experience at MK Restaurant in Hanmer- check out the good art!!! In was insane!!
