Fire-rated walls and ceilings are only as reliable as the systems behind them.

Most people assume the buildings they live, work, stay or receive care in are constructed using systems that meet the required fire performance standards. But when it comes to compliance, every component matters.

Knauf and CSR fire-tested systems use Rondo steel, with tested results published in their technical manuals. Substituting alternative steel can introduce differences in BMT, profile shape and available fire test data, which means it cannot automatically be treated as equivalent.

For Atlas Concrete’s head office, Potter Interiors was selected as the specialist supplier, helping deliver a refined timber interior crafted with precision and consistency.

Working alongside JWA Architects, NACCI and the wider project team, Potter Interiors helped bring the design intent to life through curved Hemlock batten walls, detailed timber ceilings and wall linings, and considered acoustic performance throughout the space.

The result is a warm, contemporary reception experience that feels polished, welcoming and distinctly premium.
