Thanks to the New Zealand Polo Association for inviting and organising and the Australian Polo Federation for sending/organising two great teams for the Mystery Creek Festival of Polo International. Heroic efforts by the MC team who produced an amazing ground and event in difficult conditions, and by the NZ team coach/manager Simon Keyte and coach Tommy Wilson and all those who work behind the scenes to get an event like this off the ground. Especially the horse lenders!! Those who were fortunate enough to be part of the development squad and who trialled for the team benefitted hugely and learned a lot, selected or not. Those of us fortunate enough to watch that process had a good time too.

It was great to host the North Island trials over the past two weeks, congratulations to our three club members that have made the NI Team Edward Jones, Glenn Sherriff and Henry Frederick Jones good luck!
