Roskill Rovers

Last week Monday Roskill Rovers went to West Wave pool and attacked our water safety skills. Chris from West West Rover crew ran the activity for us, thank you Chris.

This afternoon Roskill Rovers has began the long process of making wine 🍷. Special thanks to Jadzia’s lovely mother for helping us with this. We also had a tasting of homemade wines with a fantastic cheeseboard to pair.

On Monday night this week Roskill Rovers had a link night with Papatoetoe Scout Group. We ran afew fun and exciting activities with the Ventures, Scouts, Cubs and Keas. We then chatted with the older Ventures to convince them to join Rovers in the future.

On Monday this week Roskill Rovers had an international food night. The organiser prepared everyone with a random country. We came together to eat all the food and then vote for which food was from which country. Mini flags were prepped, made from paper. Fantastic night!

Roskill Rovers attended their respective Anzac Day commemorations. A-few members of the crew attended Waikatos RnR, where they made and tasted mocktails and did a Bob Ross painting.

Absolutely stoked to have taken out Mixed Tug of War at Moot, along with the win in Men’s Cross Country! Huge effort all round!💪💪

So a further update. Again apologies for the delay of information. So start time 2 pm till early evening. Food is being provided, with dietary options (please pm us if you have dietary needs so we can make sure you have some food) . Children are welcome. So the plan for the 50th is, it is going to be held at 1st Mt Albert St Judes hall. (1213A New North Road) please park on the road or one of the side streets. Please bring along any photos you have and your roskill scarf.

Start time of 2pm on Saturday 22nd of November, this is no longer an over night event due to space so if u wish to drink please be responsible.
