BREAKING a screen used C 3PO head from The Empire Strikes Back has sold for more than $1 million at auction, showing just how legendary Star Wars memorabilia has become

The iconic piece was worn during production of the 1980 classic, one of the most beloved films in cinema history, making it a true treasure from the golden age of Star Wars and one of the rarest collectibles a fan could ever own.

More than four decades later, Star Wars props continue to carry incredible cultural weight, and this sale is another reminder that the galaxy far far away remains one of the most treasured legacies in movie history
