As engineers with expertise in air quality, we understand the concerns regarding the cost and complexity of replacing filters in fresh air ventilation systems. In some cases, the process is unnecessarily complicated, involving cutting through tape to disassemble the fan unit or dealing with cumbersome springs holding a plastic, leaky case together. These issues often stem from poorly designed systems that are manufactured cheaply and sold at high prices.

Filter replacements should be quick, simple, and cost-effective. When they are not, people tend to neglect this crucial maintenance task.
