Hello everyone,

Unfortunately we will be closing our doors from February to October of 2025.

We will still be contactable, however, we will not be taking any rehoming or fosters during this time.

Apologies for the inconvenience, we are happy to point you in the direction of other rescues while we are closed.

Lovely bean here is looking for a loving forever home.
Although she has been raised with 4 brothers she is more suited in a single cat house hold, but you could get away with 2 cat house hold.
This beautiful girl is microchipped and has had her first vaccination. She is booked for desexing early January.
If anyone may know someone who is interested please reach out or email [email protected]

Fireworks are coming up so please make sure all your animal have somewhere safe to hide and that all microchip details are correct. ❀️ please take any strays to the SPCA or local vet clinic to ensure they are not missing

Guy Fawkes is just a week away and while fireworks may be fun for some, they can cause severe distress for our companion animals. 😿 To help protect them, now is the time to check that your pet’s microchip details are up to date on the NZ Companion Animal Register (NZCAR). This can make reuniting much easier if they become frightened and run off!

Here are some other steps to keep pets safe:

πŸ‘‰ Keep pets indoors, closing curtains to reduce exposure to bright flashes.
πŸ‘‰ Create a safe, quiet area for them to retreat to if frightened.
πŸ‘‰ Take dogs for a walk before dusk to avoid being outside during fireworks.
πŸ‘‰ Provide distractions, like toys or treats, to keep them occupied.
πŸ‘‰ Consider speaking to your vet about calming options if your pet has a severe fear of fireworks.
