This season encourages us to remember those who are no longer with us, and the place they continue to hold in our lives.
You may wish to reflect in your own way, or share memories with those close to you.

Louise joined the Resthaven team in 2023 as the administrator for the Howick location. She comes from a career in a large media organisation for the past 25 years. Her strong admin skills, coupled with her love of people, brings a great balance as the first point of contact in the funeral home.

Louise has been part of the east Auckland area for many years. She enjoys being part of the community and has a passion for helping others. In her spare time she loves going to the gym, enjoying her local area, and spending time with family and friends.

We’ll help you talk through the options, understand what’s involved, and take care of the arrangements so things feel more manageable.

For some families, cost is part of the decision—cremation is often more cost-effective than burial.

There are also alternatives, like natural burials in areas around New Zealand. We can guide you through the requirements and organise everything on your behalf.

As the sun sets, it reminds us that even the brightest days must end—yet their colours linger, just like the love we carry.

Each sunset whispers that endings are real, but so is the beauty that comes before them.

Each day is a small step, even if all you managed was to get through it.

Rachelle joined the team in 2021. She has a background in beauty and was self-employed for most of her previous working life, but always had a desire to be a funeral director from a young age. Now that her two sons are working and independent, she has fully committed to the role.

Rachelle can relate easily to people and has a natural caring compassionate nature which puts families at ease. She adores her family and loves spending time with them and friends outside of work.
