AUCKLAND LIVE | Project | Bartons Sound Systems 10/11/2022

The Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre in Auckland’s Aotea Centre was originally designed with a low roof to minimise build costs, but this compromised natural acoustics.
Our solution was to implement a patented Variable Room Acoustic System (VRAS) to mimic real world audio behaviour in real time to make for exquisite acoustics no matter the situation.

AUCKLAND LIVE | Project | Bartons Sound Systems The Aotea Centre’s ASB Theater (now renamed the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre), opened in 1990. A lower than ideal roof kept costs in check but resulted in less-than-ideal natural acoustics.

AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT | Project | Bartons Sound Systems 07/09/2022

Auckland International Airport needed a new Public Address System to span the entire breadth of their newly redeveloped departure terminal. The catch? All existing systems had to remain online and fully functional for the entire upgrading process.

Find out how we did it, and why we remain their preferred audio-visual contractor here https://bit.ly/3Qu4pIK

ST JAMES THEATRE | Project | Bartons Sound Systems 18/08/2022

At over 100 years old with a storied past to match, the St James Theatre in Wellington was one of the more interesting projects we’ve managed over the last few years.
After earthquake assessments deemed that foundational upgrades were required for the building in 2018, Wellington City Council decided it was a good time to upgrade key production communications infrastructure.
41 kilometres of cable and over 1200 ethernet outlets later, the St James Theatre is once again best in show when it comes to delivering great audio visual experiences.

EDEN PARK | Project | Bartons Sound Systems 07/08/2022

When tasked with a technical project like updating Eden Park’s audio hardware, it’s about getting the basics right first. Once that was covered, we were excited to deliver an incredible 80-channel surround sound system as the icing on the cake. The result; our client can now reliably deliver precise audio to any part of the stadium with ease.

EDEN PARK | Project | Bartons Sound Systems The existing hardware was installed in 2010 and was approaching end of its useful life and relied on proprietary fibre interconnects.
