Post Assault Bike Interview #3 🚴‍♂️💀
We caught Josh immediately after a bike sprint because exhausted people tell the truth.
Josh said when he first started, he wasn’t feeling particularly strong and knew something needed to change.
Now he’s stronger, fitter, and healthier.
But the biggest surprise?
The community.
The laughs between sets.
The friendly abuse.
The people who genuinely care whether you show up.
What started as a fitness journey has become one of his favourite parts of the day.
Turns out getting fit is great.
Actually enjoying the process is even better.
When coach says “get the ball in and you can go home early”…Building resilience, one disappointment at a time.
New segment idea: Post Assault Bike Interviews.
Because if you want the truth from someone, ask them immediately after 30 seconds on the Assault Bike.
This week we caught Charlie at his most vulnerable.
Between gasps for air, he talked about feeling stronger, moving better, preventing injuries, and finally doing all the things he knew he needed to do… he just didn’t know where to start.
The funny thing is, most people already know what they should be doing.
Train consistently.
Get stronger.
Move more.
Look after themselves.
The hard part is having a plan and actually showing up.
Charlie did both.
Now excuse us while we find the next victim for a Post Assault Bike Interview. 🚴‍♂️💀

Winter is where most people slow down.
The cold sets in.
The mornings get darker.
Motivation disappears.
That’s exactly why we’re running the AXO Winter Summit.
From June 15th to July 25th, your mission is simple:
âś… Maintain 75% of your weekly training sessions
âś… Earn a limited edition AXO Winter Summit hoodie
🏔️ Compete for dinner for two at The Wine Room
This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about showing up when it’s easier not to.
Because the people who stay consistent through winter are the ones who don’t spend spring trying to get back to where they were.
Starts Monday 15th June.

We sat down with Shelley, founder of Creatonic, busy mum, business owner, and AXO member, to talk about something a lot of people struggle with…
Knowing what you should do, but not knowing where to start.
For years, Shelley knew strength training was the missing piece in her routine. Like many people, the challenge wasn’t motivation. It was finding the right environment, knowing what to do, and feeling confident enough to begin.
We also talked about the inspiration behind Creatonic, why she believes creatine isn’t just for bodybuilders, and how combining strength training, good nutrition, and consistency has helped her feel stronger, sleep better, and show up with more energy for work, family, and life.
If you’ve been thinking about getting back into training, this is your sign to stop overthinking it and just start.
You don’t need to know everything.
You just need the right place to begin.
Sam’s wife dragged him in.
That’s how this story starts.
Like a lot of dads, Sam was busy with work, family, and life. Training wasn’t really a priority, and if we’re honest, he probably wouldn’t have walked through our doors on his own.
Fast forward to today and things look very different.
He’s lost weight.
He’s stronger.
He’s fitter.
He has more energy.
But the biggest win?
Being able to keep up with his son.
Because fitness isn’t really about the number on the scales or how much weight is on the bar.
It’s about having the energy to be present.
The confidence to say yes.
And the ability to do more of the things that matter most.
Sometimes all it takes is someone giving you a little push to get started.
Thanks, Sam’s wife .alba.anderson 👏
The fitness industry celebrates the wrong people.
We’re inspired by the parents juggling careers, kids, school drop-offs, life admin, and everything in between, who still find a way to show up for themselves.
That’s real discipline.
That’s real strength.
Before anyone says anything…
The opening line was written by Matt. Ryan would like that officially noted.
Now that we’ve cleared that up…
This month we’re moving into our isometric phase.
More pauses.
More control.
More stability.
More time spent in the positions where people are usually weakest.
Turns out three seconds can feel surprisingly long when you’re holding a heavy squat.
Good luck everyone. You’re about to find out for yourselves.
Fitness is hard enough.
Getting here shouldn’t be.
4 dedicated AXO carparks.
Plenty of street parking right outside.
No laps around the block.
No arriving late.
No excuses.
Just show up.
