After working in the building industry in both New Zealand and abroad, Dave returned home to complete a NZCAD at Unitec, graduating in 1995. This experience has given Dave a valuable understanding of the industry both on and off site. Congo Design has moved.
After 14 years of being in Devonport we have shifted up to Silverdale.
The traffic finally got to be too much.

New building completed in Christchurch.
1900sqm Warehouse with 440sqm of office.
All ready for a tenant.

Latest job pretty much 100% finished. Sorry can't say where or for who but was a really interesting project.

last year and now the landscaping is looking good. Out by the airport.

We have learned this week that the proposed renovations of the Long Bay Restaurant have been abandoned indefinitely due to the discovery of Moari bones and artifacts. Its sad news for all concerned as many years of work, by all parties concerned, have been undertaken to try and achieve an upgrade to the existing building that did justice to the original and also the amazing locations. Some images of what could have been. Was looking forward to a meal on the deck looking over that view.

Building complete, landscaping maybe not so complete.
Interiors still have a bit of work but time and family will help to add to that.
All ready for a well earned Xmas break.
Builder Ryan Bridgens has done a fantastic job.
Client just loves the result.

Sorry not the best photo, not the best day. Will get some much better one soon.
Mid size warehouse with single level office.
I think the firth Nero honed block looks really sharp along side the stark white of the Symonite. The green grass helps a bit as well.
