2023 SPEAKER Finn Ross; is a climate activist, adventurer and PhD candidate, investigating seaweed as a natural climate solution. Finn has had roles as the co-founder of not-for-profit charity Let Them Fish, founder of The Seaweed Solution, Bomb Bucha CEO and contributor to the genesis of Live Ocean and involved in the Kelp Forest Foundation. Finn is currently the founder of Carbonz, host of the Both Sides Now political podcast and co-chair of Future Farmers New Zealand. Finn is deeply passionate about climate action and the potential of a regenerative food and fibre sector.

2023 SPEAKER Utkarsh Sanjanwala; is a Lecturer teaching neurodiverse adults at Unitec in Auckland. He is known for his success with Game-based learning to enhance student engagement, achieving outcomes. His experience ranges from primary school all the way to tertiary sector and integrates game-based learning, yoga, meditation and other andragogy to support his students to transition from school into further study or employment. š§©š®

2023 SPEAKER Veronica Rotman; marine scientist, doctoral candidate and science communicator with a background in microplastics research. She tutors and lectures at tertiary institutions in New Zealand and sits on the Sustainable Seas National Science Challenge Stakeholder Panel. Veronica deeply loves the ocean and freediving to source kaimoana sustainably. š¬š¤æ
