The Beekeeper House - Treatment Centre
Chiang Mai, Thailand.

I finally got a small break from my other work in the film industry in Australia to travel to my hearts home in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
And finally I was able to step into the sanctuary of the "The Beekeeper house".

It's a simple choice for me to recommend the Beekeeper to anyone seeking a place to stop: reset, and get help for what's broken within.

The words that immediately come to the forefront are - peace, prosperity and promise.

I didn't enter the rooms of clients nor take photos of those starting their journey, but what I did witness, was an outstanding medical clinic, fully staffed with a medical team, calm therapy rooms where one on one treatment occurs, dedicated meditation, yoga and art buildings, state of the art gym, and nestled amongst the acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, the pool area.

Above all else, I know all of the clinical team, having previously worked with some of the psychologists personally with my own clients.

Bravo Robert and Jess. The Beekeeper is going to be the turning point in offering those seeking freedom and peace from the chains of mental health and addiction.

Head up and wings out.

For any further information, contact Robert or Jess on
+66 908935296. Also on whatsapp.

For me, time to turn around and head back to my other life now, near my sons and grandsons. I'll be back Chiang Mai. ❣️

I met Robert Common a few years back, while I was working and he was inside a treatment centre in Chiang Mai. He had a dream, even then, while turning his own life around.

It was to create a space, with the people, places and things, that would show others how to find peace.

How to overcome strangling issue's with mental health that lead to numbing struggles with addictive substances.

His dream is now a reality, his space is filled with all the right elements and with all the clinical, medical and support team, that I trust and have personally worked with before.

He believed he could, so he did.

Opening in Chiang Mai, Thailand 01 June.

One year on :

It's been one year since I shut my computer down on that Phuket island, and walked away feeling lighter, having finally told myself my story.

It's strange, but I have never questioned nor regretted publishing the chapters that made up my life, and that helped me finally, find me.

At the time of writing, I was doing it for me, at the time of publishing, I was doing it to hopefully help others find some peace. Highlighting to the readers, you are not alone.

I can't put a name to the feeling, but when I receive a message or email from someone the book has touched, my Awww moments happen, and I know exposing me, was "right". And without thinking, my heart and soul feels their words, and a wee tear often drops.

So thank you everyone for supporting me, and supporting the book. For now, I'm living in Australia, the proud owner of a van I call home, "Wandering Maltida", having taken a step back from the work I love until borders open for us all again.

It's a simple life, and I've never been happier. My boys and my grandson are close by, my Mum is a daily phonecall away, my Dad is succumbing to Dementia and has finally had to go into care.

The sun shines everyday, whether it is raining or not, on this beautiful life of mine that I've been given a second chance at. 💜

No regrets and no fu***ng excuses. 🙏
