School holidays are over 😔. I'm back and freshly inspired after a dream family trip to Sri lanka. Basically, one big garden tour for me. Here's just a small selection of some of the amazing sights I'll be drawing on for inspiration through the coming winter.

Maintenance day. Starting to see some hints of Autumn colour.

I was very grateful to be invited to do a second garden for one of my clients. This time, a villa in Grey Lynn. The brief was something low maintenance and contemporary. I also wanted the garden to be unique to the area but not completely out of place with the style of the house. Overall a nice little transformation I think.

Busy morning today! We had Ben from Concept Botanica drop off some outstanding Redwoods and Pururi. Can't wait to see them once they've established.

Maintenance day.

Here's some pics of our latest work.
We added to the existing deck on one side and added a paved area on the other. This should be ample space for outdoor living when summer finally returns.
The fence line has been given a lift with some clean and simple planting and robust corten steel edging. Bring on summer.

My latest acquisition! Every garden needs one right? Do I tidy him up or leave him shabby chic🤔. Everything is still blooming but maybe this cold snap will put pay to that.

Gotta love these screens! Lazer cut from Corten Steel, so they'll last forever. Lighting plays a huge role here as well!
