The Owl was designed in 1960 and is a charming handcrafted sculpture made from Danish oak with wenge wood surrounding the eyes. It has a mobile head that rotates to reveal new expressions – wonder, contemplation or curiosity are just a few of the expressions of this wise creature.

Paul Anker Hansen's Owl has become an icon of mid 20th century design and continued to be loved by a new generation today. It was originally produced by Theodor Skjøde Knudsen in his artisan factory Skjode Skjern, today it is produced under license in Denmark by Architectmade. These charming Owls are now back in stock at Good Form.

The 'Model 18' Sideboard by Omann Jun embodies the quiet confidence of mid-century Danish design. Its long, low silhouette is elegantly poised on slender tapered legs, creating a light, almost floating presence that feels both architectural and refined. Crafted in richly figured oak, the piece is distinguished by Omann Jun’s iconic knife-blade handles and crisp linear detailing, signatures of the family workshop founded in 1933 and renowned for its exceptional cabinetry and enduring quality. Timeless rather than trend-driven, the Model 18 is a design classic, crafted to be lived with, appreciated, and passed down through generations. Omann Jun is available exclusively at Good Form.

Sirkel (Norwegian for circle) is a tealight votive by designers Anderssen & Voll that plays with the transparencies of glass. A large ring of opaque colour is suspended by a smaller cup of almost-clear glass. While designed as a candle holder, Sirkel looks just as good empty where it can catch the light. Nedre Foss is available from Good Form.

The N-SS01 Shelving System by Norm Architects, was inspired by the umbrella and shoe racks by the entrances of Japanese temples and shrines. Similar construction techniques were used to create the shelving system with inherent functionalities, such as removable shelves and bookends that aren’t visible at first sight, serving the needs of its owner in an understated way. Karimoku Case is exclusively available at Good Form.

Inspired by the beauty of possibility, the Gemini candleholder is a perfect union of form and function. Designed mathematically to allow for the candles to be the smallest distance apart while still remaining stable, the Gemini stands out for its clean lines and simple purity. Available in 3 finishes, this beautiful design from Peter Karpf for Architectmade, can be found at Good Form.

Now the characteristic Gesture design from the '50s is also available as a sculptural lounge chair. Behind the popular form-stressed design is the renowned Danish architect Hans Olsen, who created both a dining table chair and a lounge chair based on the same basic principle.

With its welcoming design and light, playful expression, the Gesture Lounge Chair is as aesthetically pleasing as it is a comfortable addition to the living room. The armrests invite you to sit down and find peace in the form-fitting design, where padding on both the back and seat ensures optimal comfort. The Gesture Lounge and Dining Chair is available fro Good Form.

The BMF candle holder is among the most iconic candle holder designs of the 1970s. The graphic candle holder was designed by architect Werner Stoff and originally produced by the Nagel company in the late 1960’s, but shortly after its launch it was handed over to the BMF company and produced from 1971 to 1985.

The BMF Vase is one of the many accessories Werner Stoff designed to complement and customise the modular candle holders. It’s perfect for adding extravagance and personality to the range and combines seamlessly with other the designs. Online and in store now, at Good Form.

Hans Olsen’s unique Fried Egg is rooted in 1950s Danish Modernism and appeals to design lovers who like an edgy touch in their homes in the shape of an extraordinary piece of designer furniture that features both personality and warmth. The idiom of the sofa is the same as that of the affectionately-nicknamed Fried Egg armchair, but brings together the playful lines in a friendly, well-balanced design. The two flat armrests open up to the world, inviting you to get cosy and recline in the sofa. Warm Nordic is available from Good Form.

This crackle-glazed ceramic relief by Gidon Bing has a calm quality, where form is built through softened recesses, raised edges, and carefully balanced negative space. The work feels shaped as much by removal as by addition, with the surface pressed, carved, or modelled into a quiet rhythm of vertical and rounded forms. The glaze is central to the piece. Its fine crackle pattern gives the surface a subtle tension. It feels tactile and architectural, but still soft and handmade. Gidon Bing is available from Good Form.
