Waiting for health results can feel harder than the appointment itself.

Your brain treats uncertainty as a threat. When it doesn't have answers, it fills in the gaps, and it almost always fills them with the worst case scenario.

That's not weakness, that's your nervous system doing exactly what it's designed to do. Our latest article breaks down what's actually happening, and what helps.

Feeling like no one gets it doesn't mean no one will.

This month, we're exploring one of the most human experiences there is - getting through the hard stuff. Not just surviving it, but understanding what actually helps when life throws you a curveball. 🌀

This week, start simple: notice one small thing you reach for when life feels hard. That's where this month starts.

From coping with health anxiety and doomscrolling, to the science of touch, humour, and what your anger is really telling you - there's something for wherever you're at right now.

Keep an eye out over the month as we go deeper into what it really means to get through it.

We often blame poor sleep on stress, screens or late nights. And often, they are the culprits. But sometimes it’s worth looking a little closer.

Sleep apnoea is a common condition where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep. Because it often happens without awareness, people can spend years feeling tired without realising why.

Some common signs include:

1. Loud or persistent snoring, sometimes with gasping or choking sounds
2. Waking up feeling unrefreshed, even after enough hours of sleep
3. Morning headaches, dry mouth, or a sore throat
4. Excessive daytime sleepiness or difficulty staying awake during the day

If a few of these sound familiar, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have sleep apnoea — but it could be worth seeing your doctor for more information and discussing whether any further tests might be helpful.

If you're neurodivergent and struggle to switch off at night, it's not a discipline problem - your brain is simply wired differently.

Delayed circadian rhythms, later melatonin release, and greater sensitivity to light and sound can all make sleep genuinely harder to come by. The good news is that working with your brain rather than against it can make a real difference.

➡️ Swipe through for ways to make sleep work for your neurodivergent brain.

There’s truth to “sleeping on it” - your brain keeps processing long after the day ends.

The harder part is actually letting your mind stand down at night so that can happen.

Swipe through for a few simple ways to start making that easier.

This Friday, we're wearing pink and passing it on. 💗 A kind word, a supportive text, a check-in — small acts that remind someone they're not alone.

We tend to treat naps like a luxury - something you only do on holidays or when you’ve hit a wall.

But a short, well-timed pause in your day can do more than you think.

A nap isn’t time lost. It might just be time returned.

If your brain won't switch off at night, try this. 🌙

Cognitive shuffling gives your mind something gentle to focus on — just enough to stop the spiral and drift off to sleep.

Save this for tonight. 💬
