Glimmer✨: A moment in your day that makes you feel joy, happiness, peace or gratitude.

Namaste friends! It's been a while...πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ½

Today it dawned on me that it has been exactly 5 years since I began my rather unexpected #influencerjourney thanks to the #covid19pandemic😷. What a blessed and glimmer-ful journey it has been! πŸ€©πŸ‘©πŸ½β€βš•οΈπŸŒπŸ«Ά

These days I am keeping myself out of too much additional mischief with my usual healthy cooking 🍽️ 🌈 & fitness pursuits πŸ§˜πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘Ÿ, balancing GP work with my various other professional and personal commitments. The biggest change I have been learning to adapt to is sending off our two kids πŸ‘§πŸ½πŸ‘¦πŸ½ to Australia to pursue their budding medical careers. I must admit as a former "πŸ…-sitting-in-a 🚁" mama🐻, it did take a moment or two for me find my new groove as an empty nester (aka remote controller πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ’»πŸ€«πŸ˜‚). Watching your kids spread their wings is both exhilarating and terrifying. I must admit, now that I have navigated the terror phase, I am beginning to enjoy the shift in focus back to self and the new found freedom this chapter of life brings.🧿πŸ₯°

Thank you for all your warmth and encouragement over the last 5 years. I hope you are taking care of your body, mind and souls in your corners of the planet. Good health after all, remains our greatest wealth.

May your day ahead be filled with shimmery #glimmers!βœ¨πŸ’«

I am overjoyed to share the news that our son Rayan will soon be following the footsteps of the rest of his family members embarking on a career in medicine. There is no greater happiness for a parent than to see their child stride towards achieving their dreams. Thank you to all of you for showering my family with your love and blessings.πŸ™πŸ½β€οΈ
