Smile Makeover

This is my brave and beautiful dental colleague and dearest friend, Ziggy. Always with a big smile on her face since our uni days at dental school in Otago. Her positivity and strength through out her journey with breast cancer has been nothing less than that of Wonder Woman…😘

Ziggy's whole world stopped when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was running a busy dental practice and bringing up two children with her husband. Treatment started straight away, chemotherapy and a mastectomy, and she called the BCFNZ nurses for help.
"They were wonderful" she said "if it wasn't for their incredible support I don't know where I would be today".

During this COVID 19 crisis we want to make sure women who are already isolated don't have to go through breast cancer alone.

A beautiful lady 💃….. trauma to the mouth in her younger years resulted in the loss of some bone along with three front 🦷🦷🦷teeth….always worried 🙊about her plastic partial plate falling out…..she decided to reclaim 👍her smile 😃 with implants…. once she was happy with the smile design we did for her as she wanted something natural that blended in with the rest of teeth and color ….. she was then sent to a local specialist periodontist to get two implants placed…… a few months later the graft and implants integrated with the bone and….we then designed and placed a 3 unit porcelain bridge to go over the top of her two implants and we also replaced a stained filling on her side tooth too… in Albany…. She can now smile with confidence as the bridge is permanently fixed in place unlike her removable plate……
