Visitors travelling on a passport from Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the Czech Republic have to request an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) before they travel.

Apply on the official website www.immigration.govt.nz/nzeta or through the official NZeTA App.

An early morning M 5.7 earthquake with light shaking has occurred 146 km deep in the Cook strait region/ offshore north of Nelson. It was felt across the country along both coasts and we have received over 13k+ felt reports. For more detail, see https://www.geonet.org.nz/earthquake/2022p771854
