The Giving Machines may only be here for a season, but the need for kindness lasts all year.

Last Christmas, every donation made through the Giving Machines helped support charities making a real difference in our communities including Auckland City Mission - Te Tāpui Atawhai

Every day, they provide food, healthcare, housing support, and compassionate care to people experiencing homelessness, hardship, and poverty. Their work is about more than meeting immediate needs; it’s about restoring dignity, creating hope, and helping people build a better future.

Because everyone deserves to feel safe.
Everyone deserves to be seen.
And no one should have to face hardship alone.

The Giving Machines are a beautiful moment each Christmas - a time when our community comes together to support local charities doing incredible work across Aotearoa.

In 2025, Buttabean Motivation (BBM) was one of those charities.

Thanks to the generosity of those who donated through the Giving Machines, Bellyful is able to provide practical support to whānau when they need it most.

For the Box whānau in Ōhaupō, that support came after their five-month-old daughter Mabel spent a week in hospital. Returning home exhausted and navigating the challenges of caring for a high-needs baby, a delivery of Bellyful meals helped ease the pressure during an incredibly difficult time.

"I hadn't cooked a hot meal in over two weeks. It was such a huge weight off our shoulders," says mum, Linsay.

Bellyful’s volunteers prepare and deliver meals to families with babies and young children who are facing tough circumstances. Donations made through the Giving Machines help make these moments of care possible, turning generosity into practical support for whānau across Aotearoa.

"Having these pre-prepared meals ready to go gives us that little extra time to take a deep breath in these tough times."

Together, the Giving Machines and Bellyful are helping ensure that when families need support, they don't have to face it alone.

Although the Giving Machine season has come to an end, the impact of organizations like Kura Cares continues all year round. 💚

Kura Cares empowers Auckland whānau through education, employment pathways, financial capability, and practical life skills, helping build confidence and independence for the future.

We are grateful they were part of Giving Machine 2025 and invite our community to continue supporting their incredible work.

One of the amazing charities featured at Giving Machines Auckland was Youthline 💙

For more than 50 years, Youthline has been supporting young people across Aotearoa through free helpline services, counselling, mentoring, and youth development programmes.
