What goes first, brushing or flossing? πŸͺ₯

Technically speaking, its better to floss first before brushing.

The reason being is that if you floss after brushing, anything that is removed when you floss stays in the mouth.

But when you floss first and then brush, the brushing motion is more likely to remove it form your mouth.

This means there’s less plaque in your mouth and you’re less likely to develop gum and bone disease (periodontitis).

It also means your toothpaste can do a better job of coating more surfaces of your teeth, which means the ingredients can do its job to protect your teeth!

Again, this is a technicality for those looking to optimize their oral hygiene routine at home.
